If you like Greek pizza than there is nothing wrong with Freddy's... I got a cheese and a special... the sauce was good and had the perfect amount - not dry and not dripping all over... cheese was good and the special had a generous amount of toppings... this is my go to for a quick pizza...
My family has been a longggg time fan of Freddy's. I haven't been here in a long time and my husband had never been. We ordered a large Buffalo chicken pizza. Very, very good! We are picky with pizza. NICE spice kick to it (but not overwhelming). The ratios were perfect (sauce to cheese plus toppings). Lots of flavor! Would definitely order again.
I've known Freddy since we were in High School. Freddy used to work for the original ABC pizza in Cromwell. The original owners were Greek and the best pizza and grinders around. ABC pizza closed and Freddy took there recipe to start his own restaurant. Freddy still uses the same Greek recipe and is consistent through out the years with fresh ingredients, and fresh baked bread! I've been going to Freddys ever since. It's been over 20 years and it's still my favorite. I have not found a better grinder place as of yet and I travel CT, MA, RI, and NY. I found about two places that were close but not Freddys. I no longer reside in Cromwell, but I have no problem traveling miles just to get a grinder from my old buddy. Try Freddys and you'll be hooked for life! The grinders and pizza are perfect! Chicken wings are fantastic! Hands down best place! I could go for a grinder right now! Lol
